•Sa Coma is an ideal fun in the sun destination for the British holidaymaker looking for glorious soft golden sandy beaches, clear, shallow, warm azure waters, good value accommodation and a friendly welcome.

•Sa Coma is on the east coast of Majorca. It is Spain's biggest and greenest island.

•This attractive, modern resort is built around a spectacular bay. Behind the beach is a wide traffic free promenade that stretches to the more traditional village of S'Illot to the south; and the smaller sheltered beach of Cala Moreya.

•The best beaches in Sa Coma: Sa Coma has a lovely sandy beach with pine trees and palms. It has sun loungers with thatched parasols, windsurfing and pedalos. - The resorts and beaches of Cala Millor and S'Illot are nearby.

•How child friendly is Sa Coma ? Very. This is a very British and family oriented destination with a great beach, good value hotels, bars and restaurants.

•There is also Mini Golf and the Auto Safari park which you can drive around yourself around if you have a car.

•Eating out in Sa Coma: There is a good choice of cafes, English bars and pubs serving traditional British food and local dishes.

•The best bar in Sa Coma? This is a tightly fought contest. In the red corner is JJ's English Bar which does great value meals with free wine. And in the blue corner, is the King's Head which offers excellent food, friendly staff and entertainment. According to our holidaymakers both pubs make you very welcome. •Nightlife in Sa Coma: Much of the entertainment is hotel based although there are a few pubs and bars such as the Aussie Bar, the Irish bar and the Sports bar. Some of them offer live music and karaoke.There is one disco here called Espace. For a wider choice of entertainment, nearby Cala Millor is probably your best bet.

•Excursions from Sa Coma.Boats trips around the coast, which will usually stop for about 30 minutes so you can jump into the sea to cool down or snorkel.

•There is a small riding stable which is very popular with visitors and advanced booking is essential especially during the summer. The ride out to the Punta de n'Amer headland usually takes about an hour and costs approximately 8.50€ per person.

•The capital city, Palma, with its beautiful architecture, smart shops, lively street cafes and markets is a great day out; and can be reached using the local bus service. Check out the Monday market in Manacor and the pearl factory.

•Or enjoy a good walk to the 200 hectare Punta de n'Amer nature reserve at the headland half way between Sa Coma and Cala Millor. There is also a 17th century watchtower. Enjoy the incredible views and take a rest and enjoy a drink at the top.

•Visit the spectacular Caves of Drach and look at the amazing stalactites and stalagmites.
