Clean, shallow waters and miles of long golden sands make this a perfect spot for peace and quiet and windsurfers.

•Curium Beach: west of Limassol, is very shallow with lovely sands and is in the shadows of the famous Roman Curim amphitheatre. It is also a popular spot for water sports, sailors and hang gliders.

. There is also a good beach at the nearby village of Pissouri. It has a small dive operation, a local taverna and miles of sand with shallow clear waters.
