•Ladies Mile Beach: west of Limassol, next to the new port and the salt lake. Go as far west as possible along the road that runs between sea and the lake to one of the pavilions on the beach. Clean, shallow waters and miles of long golden sands make this a perfect spot for peace and quiet and windsurfers.

•Curium Beach: west of Limassol, is very shallow with lovely sands and is in the shadows of the famous Roman Curim amphitheatre. It is also a popular spot for water sports, sailors and hang gliders.

. There is also a good beach at the nearby village of Pissouri. It has a small dive operation, a local taverna and miles of sand with shallow clear waters.
