•Beaches in Kardamena: Soft white sands and sparkling turquoise waters stretch for 5km along the main beach. Helona or Turtle beach is very pretty and is at the heart of Kardamena's blue flag Gourniatis beach. There are also many swimming pools with snack bars in the resort open to the public. Boat trips stop off at the surrounding islands and the other bays on Kos.
