•This quietish resort is on one of Menorca's prettiest stretches of coast. •What do our holidaymakers think of Calan Bosch? Over to two of our happy holidaymakers:

•“The marina is absolutely beautiful especially at night although can be busy with families. Restaurants aplenty! Beach was superb, also lovely walk through rocks to further beaches, lovely and peaceful. Scenery gorgeous, locals fab. This is my second trip to Cala'n Bosch in a year and can't wait to go back.A lovely restful holiday with my hubby.”

•“Calan Bosch is a great resort and something for everyone. Kids are well catered for and a great variety of entertainment.”

•Here's the guide to the local beaches, kindly supplied by one of our beach loving holidaymakers:

•“Cala Xoringer is just a short walk through the village, very nice bay with lovely clear water.

•Cala Turqueta, 10kms away, nice smallish bay but have to park at top so walk back up in the heat took 15mins.

•Cala Galdana 20 mins drive away nice large cove, quite a lot of seaweed in water, 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella - 20euros.

•If you like visiting different places best to hire a car. There are good beaches nearby at Son Xoriguer.”

•Family holidays in Calan Bosch? This is a great resort for families. Both the beaches here are perfect for kids, with safe, shallow waters and soft, gently sloping sands.

•“If you have children then the Titanic restaurant with it's free pools, inflatable slide, ball pit, trampoline and exceptional food is well worth the effort.”

•“El Pato restaurant. Great holiday food, excellent value and child friendly.”

•“Legends bar became our local and with a 5 yr old they made a real fuss over her - ensuring she enjoyed it too. Goody Goody at the far end of the Marina was a dream for my 5 year old daughter - with trampolines, a bouncy castle - soft play and a bar/restaurant -costing 10 Euros a day - money very well spent. This is easily the most child friendly resort we have been to and will definitely be booking up again next year.”
