•Sa Coma is on the east coast of Majorca. It is Spain's biggest and greenest island.

•This attractive, modern resort is built around a spectacular bay. Behind the beach is a wide traffic free promenade that stretches to the more traditional village of S'Illot to the south; and the smaller sheltered beach of Cala Moreya.

•Nightlife in Sa Coma: Much of the entertainment is hotel based although there are a few pubs and bars such as the Aussie Bar, the Irish bar and the Sports bar. Some of them offer live music and karaoke.There is one disco here called Espace. For a wider choice of entertainment, nearby Cala Millor is probably your best bet.

•Excursions from Sa Coma.Boats trips around the coast, which will usually stop for about 30 minutes so you can jump into the sea to cool down or snorkel.

•There is a small riding stable which is very popular with visitors and advanced booking is essential especially during the summer. The ride out to the Punta de n'Amer headland usually takes about an hour and costs approximately 8.50€ per person.

•The capital city, Palma, with its beautiful architecture, smart shops, lively street cafes and markets is a great day out; and can be reached using the local bus service. Check out the Monday market in Manacor and the pearl factory.

•Or enjoy a good walk to the 200 hectare Punta de n'Amer nature reserve at the headland half way between Sa Coma and Cala Millor. There is also a 17th century watchtower. Enjoy the incredible views and take a rest and enjoy a drink at the top.
