A perfect resort for lazy sun drenched days by the infinity pool.
Fabulous hotels, local lido and lively Playa de las Americas only 10 minutes away.
•What's Tenerife like? It's a perfect destination for that great family holiday. Tenerife is warm (23c) all-year-round with amazing beaches, whose fine sands vary from golden through to volcanic grey and black. Famous for its volcanic moonscapes, lush green forests, warm sparkling waters and quaint villages.
•Holidays in Playa Paraiso: Playa Paraiso is on the south western coast of Tenerife. It is halfway between Playa de las Americas and Callao Salvaje. It is a small up and coming resort with some great luxury all inclusive hotels. It ideally placed to explore the nearby busier resorts and the lovely beaches further on this stretch of the coast.
•The beach at Playa Paraiso: Despite it's name, there is no real beach here, other than a small rocky bay. However, there is a very smart large salt water lido on the seafront with amazing views. And most of the hotels have incredibly luxurious pools.
•There are beaches at the nearby resort of Playa de las Americas, ten minutes away by bus or taxi, and Puerto Collon and Costa Adeje.
•Family holidays in Playa Paraiso: Most of 4* and 5* resorts in Playa Paraiso have children's swimming pools, kids' clubs and entertainment; many with All Inclusive and Dine Around programmes.
•Here is one holidaymaker's comments about the 5* Roca Nivaria “It is fantastic! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely clean and the food varied and would suit anyone's palate. The children loved the kids club and the animation staff were full of energy and fun.”
•Excursions from Playa Paraiso: The boat trip watching whales and dolphins is a wonderful day out and this can be combined with a trip to visit Los Gigantes.
•Visit the volcano at Teide National Park - an immense landscape sculpted by lava; and the beautiful city of Santa Cruz.
•When is the best time to visit Playa Paraiso? Anytime, and if you want it a little less busy, avoid the school holidays. But if you really want to see the true spirit of Tenerife, try and be here for one of its many fiestas. Check out the calendar of festive celebrations at www.webtenerife.com. Or come for a great time at Christmas.
•Golf in Playa Paraiso: The weather here is so good that you can play every day of the year and at any level. And this golf friendly island is attracting many golfers between the months of October and May.
•The new Playa Las Americas offers a challenging 9 hole course within 500 metres of the beach. Other places where you can play golf in southern Tenerife is Golf Del Sur, Los Palos Golf, Golf Adeje and Amarilla Golf.
•Eating out in Playa Paraiso: There is a good but small choice of traditional and international restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes. Nearby Playa de Las Americas has a bigger choice. Las Americas' Safari Commercial Centre has many good restaurants, shops and the Carmen Mota theatre.

Seville - Spain Travel Guide
Seville is an elegant and exuberant city, home to authentic Andalusian culture and lifestyle
After a few days spent eating tapas, watching flamenco, and drinking local wine in the sunshine, you may find it hard to leave...
•Seville is a city with a strong personality defined by two thousand years of history. The city's motto 'No me ha dejado' means 'she [the city] has not abandoned me'. This motto is indicative of Seville's long history of survival throughout various conquests. Evidence of both Roman and Moorish influence is still apparent in the city's architecture and monuments.
•Dining in Seville Like all provincial capitals in Spain, Seville enjoys the best of provincial production. Fresh seafood from Cadiz, meats and cheeses from the north, and olive oil from Jaen are just a few examples of the regional fare available throughout the city. It is this variety that fuels the Tapas culture for which Seville is famous. Whether you are in search of a meal or just an accompaniment to a glass of wine, a Tapas bar or restaurant will have a selection of fresh delicious dishes to please every palate. The tapas bars of Barrio Santa Cruz are some of the city's best.
•Weather: Seville enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate. In fact Seville is one of the warmest cities in Europe with an average temperature of 32c in August. Winters are mild and temperatures rarely drop below 6c
•Flamenco in Seville is amongst the best in Spain. The roots of this traditional Andalucian music and dance originate in the province of Seville. As a result, Seville the city has always been the provincial meeting point for the creme de la creme of Flamenco musicians and dancers. Be sure to take in a traditional evening show in one of the city's many tablaos (Flamenco bars). Here are some long running establishments offering the best in Flamenco performance: El Arenal (7 Calle Rodo): A long running, intimate tablao. El Patio Sevillano (Paseo Colon) One of Seville's first tablaos, located next to the Plaza de Toros. Los Gallos (11 Plaza de Santa Cruz) This tablao has been open since the 60's and puts on two shows a night.
•The Cathedral of Seville: Built on the site of a 12th century Mosque, this incredible building is the largest cathedral in Spain and the third largest (by square footage) Christian church in the world. Inside the Cathedral you'll find what may be the largest church interior in existence. The vaulted ceilings, gothic carvings, and sheer grandeur of the building make this one of Seville's most visited attractions.
•The Alcazar Palace: Whether or not you are interested in Seville's historical context, this palace is well worth visiting. The palace, like Seville itself, is a fusion of Spanish and Moorish architecture. It was originally a Moorish fort and was later expanded under Spanish rule. The Moorish Zelig tiling, traditional arches, courtyards, and carvings, are a clear reminder of Southern Spain's proximity to Morocco.
•Visit Seville during the week leading up to Easter and you will find the city packed with people who have come for Seville's famous 'Semana Santa' (holy week) celebration. Throughout the holy week, processions of white clad, masked 'costaleros' from various brotherhoods parade solemnly through the streets carrying enormous heavy floats (pasos). To take part in a Semana Santa procession is a once in a lifetime honour and many men wait all their lives to be given the opportunity to join the procession. On Good Friday, the processions leave churches at midnight and the heavy alter-like floats are carried throughout the night, concluding around 6am. Though this is a truly spectacular time to be in Seville, be sure to book accommodation well in advance if you are planning to stay during this period.
•The Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza: Seville is one of the best places in Spain to witness a traditional bullfight. Though the sport is definitely not for the faint of heart and is constantly under fire from many animal rights organisations, Sevillanos are very passionate about the sport as Seville is arguably the 'home of the bullfight'. The Plaza de Toros is large, impressive, and very busy during the bullfighting season (April-June, September).
•Whether your time in Seville is spent walking the tree lined avenues enjoying the cafe and tapas bar culture or spent perusing the city's rich historical culture, architecture, and museums, the underlying charm and atmosphere of Seville is unavoidable. Seville is unquestionably, one of Spain's most attractive destinations.
•Holidays in Seville : We have an excellent choice of holidays in Seville.
•Hotels in Seville: We have excellent hotels in Seville, all with our lowest prices guaranteed.
•Cheap Flights to Seville: We have cheap flights to Seville. The flight takes around 2 hours 30 minutes from UK airports.

•Seville Hotel Reviews: Written exclusively by genuine customers who have booked and stayed in the hotel.
Did you know? Christopher Columbus’s tomb, supposedly containing his remains, is located inside Seville Cathedral.

•What do our holidaymakers think of La Pineda? “We have travelled to La Pineda for the past 15 years because the beach is beautiful and the water clear and clean. The beach is cleaned every night and is very safe for young children. As an English couple, we always go to Gordon's Bar which is just off the sea front and would recommend it to everyone as the food is perfect - cooked to order, not kept warm for hours on end, and we consider the owner and staff to be our personal friends. We would also recommend the specialist seafood restaurant which is also just off the beach as the food in there is delicious.”
•The beaches in La Pineda: Pale gold soft sands, deep blue shallow, clear waters and a series of secluded rocky coves that stretch between Salou and La Pineda. There is a wide decked, palm fringed promenade that runs the length of the beach with various cafes and bars leading to a water park. Plus, there are lots of watersports available.
•When is the best time to visit La Pineda? May - October.
•What else can I do in La Pineda? This is a great base to explore the rest of the Costa Daurada. There are excellent local bus services; but if you are going to explore you will probably enjoy the flexibility that hiring a car in La Pineda brings.
•PortAventura - the Universal theme park is not to be missed if you've got kids. These are seriously good rides, and there is something for everyone. For thrill seekers, check out Furios Baco and go from 0 to 135 km/h in 3 seconds. Or enjoy a white knuckle ride on Dragon Khan where you travel through 8 loops at 110km per hour. For younger children there are canoe rides and the opportunity to explore the mysteries of the deep. Look out for leaflets around the resort with discount vouchers.
•Top PortAventura Tip: If travelling with young children, measure them at home before you go. Most of the rides have a 1.4 metre minimum.
•Visit Aquapolis, the local water park with rides and dolphin shows.
•Barcelona: It's easy to reach this cosmopolitan city by bus or by hiring a car in La Pineda.
•Wander along La Ramblas and wonder at Gaudi's surreal and magical architecture. Plus check out the local tapas restaurants, the dancing fountains and the old quarter.

•Eating out in La Pineda: La Pineda offers a good choice of local cuisine with some British specialities at its many open air cafes; and all at very good prices. There are a few fine seafood restaurants.
•The best bar in La Pineda? There is no doubt that the Waterfront pub is our customer's favourite bar in La Pineda.
•Nightlife in La Pineda: The nightlife here is fun and friendly with salsa and disco bar, quizzes, karaoke and bowling. On the edge of the town is a large nightclub popular with locals and tourists. Bustling Salou is only twenty minutes away and has plenty of clubs and bars.

Santa Eulalia - Ibiza Travel Guide
Ibiza's laid back beach paradise.
Soft powder sand beaches, clear waters, and superb food.
•Santa Eulalia Santa Eulalia is a laid back beach haven.
•It has idyllic scenery, powder soft sands, delicious local cuisine and its own trendy marina with art galleries and designer boutiques. It's far from the madding crowds of San Antonio's West End but like the rest of the island, music and creativity is at its heart.
•There are plenty of cool bars where you can relax and watch the sunset but as one holiday maker puts it succinctly: “The resort itself is very laid back. More suited to families & older people. Don't go if you want disco bars and 2 4 1 offers. More of a cosmopoltian resort.”
•The beaches in Santa Eulalia: Like the rest of Ibiza, famed for their gorgeous sunsets, the aroma of fresh seafoods and fish grilling over charcoal, wicked cocktails and fabulous local bars, a couple of which stay open till dawn. There are lovely walks all along the coast and boat trips around the bay, for snorkelling and to visit nearby Formentor.
•Here is what one of our happy holidaymakers recommends: “We hired a car for a few days, we recommend this, as we found a lovely secluded beach with a really lovely restaurant- Sa Caleta. Also worth a visit was Cala Conti - this is very famous for the wonderful sunsets, we had a really nice meal and watched the sun go down.”
•Eating Out in Santa Eulalia? This really is a destination for food lovers. From traditional tapas and Ibizan cuisine; to plenty of beach side bars and cafes offering a cosmopolitan selection of snacks and nibbles.
•Best restaurants in Santa Eulalia? Our customer's love restaurant street in Santa Eulalia which is unsurprisingly devoted to local and international cuisine. They have many favourites, but the current number one choice is: “Duffers restaurant.15.50 Euro for 3 course meal - all delicious (especially goats cheese starter).”
•What else can I do in Santa Eulalia? Throughout the area there is also a great selection of shops, designer goods, trendy boutiques. The main square, the Ramblas host the famous hippy market every day except Sunday. It's a treasure trove of souvenirs, handmade arts and crafts, jewellery, gifts and local pottery.
•Take a ride on the ferry to one of the various bays around Ibiza. You can also get a water taxi to Ibiza town and boat trips to Formentor.
. ”Hire a car - go to Sant Carles - a charming little village (only about 5km away from the hotel). Then drive on to Cala Llenya - a fantastic sandy beach with waves which the kids will love. Don't miss a visit to Ibiza's old town (Dalt Vila) as it's a step back in time - good choice of restaurants there too.” Commented one of our happy holidaymakers.
•The market at Es Cana is worth a visit on a Wednesday.
•Clubs in Santa Eulalia? Not really, if you want to go clubbing you can get a water taxi into Ibiza town.
•Holidays to Santa Eulalia: We have an excellent choice of holidays in Santa Eulalia.
